### **Overview**

The "Part and Consumable Item Group" doctype allows you to categorize and manage item groups for parts and consumables within the Service Management module.

### **Fields**

#### 1. Item Group

* **Label**: Item Group
* **Usage**:


	+ Select the item group for parts and consumables.
	+ This field will display the list of available item groups.
	+ *Example*: "Electrical Parts", "Plumbing Supplies", "Maintenance Tools"

### **Usage**

1. Navigate to the "Service Management" module.
2. Select "Part and Consumable Item Group" from the list of available doctypes.
3. Click on "New" to create a new item group.
4. Select the appropriate "Item Group" from the list.
5. Save the record.
6. You can view, edit, or delete the item groups as needed.

### **Notes**

* Use the "Item Group" field to categorize parts and consumables.
* Select the appropriate group that best fits the type of parts or consumables.
* This helps in organizing and managing inventory effectively.
